Phew, I've been having a really busy year. College has been great! I've commuting to a city college, and love getting to experience all the sights, sounds (and the occasional strong smell) of the city. Noteworthy classes I've taken include an intense criminology course, an Old English literature survey course, and a fantastic Norse/Celtic mythology class. I've written many essays, joined Mock Trial, read many books and articles, quit Mock Trial, and generally enjoyed myself.

I have had a hard time making friends though, since I live a good 45 minutes off campus (I get to ride the subway!), but I have my family around to bug. Hopefully next year I'll be on campus and more able to creep on people.

Writing and art wise, however, I've hardly done anything! It's really hard to read over my material and wonder where it all came from, or look at a piece and wonder how I had the patience to realize it. I signed up for an introductory drawing class and we started with (drumroll) 'Lines.' We then moved on to 'Pattern.' We've finally gotten to interesting things now, and I feel some of the creative juices flowing.

Hm, what else? I saw a hobo in a blue toga today. A lot of people in capes and top hats around town as well. Last weekend I drove through some countryside and saw lambs standing on top of their momma sheep. I love livestock towers xD
